Learn more at www.cargill.com Job Purpose and Impact The Project Engineer will oversee engineering and technical projects, including leadership, budget, planning, execution and scheduling to deliver a successful project outcome, including safety and risk mitigation plans. This will initially be a 12 months contract where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across all areas of the project to interpret the needs, expectations, and limitations of each, and bring them together with the aim of successful project deliveries. Key Accountabilities - Safe execution of the project and leading with a zero-injury expectation - Assisting the Build Project Manager with the design and execution of two projects that are compliant with requirements from Cargill Corporate Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs, BU and Cargill Environmental, Health and Safety - Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. Runs Continuous Improvement projects and tracks value created - Achieving the technical aspects of the project objectives (scope, schedule, cost) - Leading selected technical tasks throughout the project - Assisting in the Coordination and completion of all PPM / PDP Build deliverables throughout each project phase - Actively participating in project team and consultant meetings - Reporting on the technical aspects of the project by measuring performance and identifying potential corrective actions - Assisting in the designing and building of a project that meets the Cargill operability and maintainability requirements - Liaise with and assist 3 rd party consultants and advisors to deliver the agreed scope of work Qualifications - Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial processing environment or equivalent project engineering experience - Experience of general engineering design and principles - Engineering Degree (chemical, mechanical, process, electrical) - Collaborative working style with an ability to work across large workgroups - Effective communicator across multiple levels of stakeholders In return to your experience, we offer: - A competitive remuneration package - Autonomy and scope for career development - The opportunity to be part of a challenging construction project and work with some of the most talented people in the industry - A supportive working culture and an inclusive team environment Cargill is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
