Working experience in a cloud-native data platform and some DevOps experience will be preferred but not mandatory. You’ll have a strong system thinking mindset, automating everything at scale and you love data and coding.It’s an advantage to have a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems however, having the aforementioned core skills are more important to us.What the role will involveThe role will involve building, validating, and supporting data product frameworks. This includes implementing approved design patterns for the value adding elements of the data product framework, such as data acquisition, extract load transform processes, data modelling, machine learning operations, data quality management and monitoring.As part of the role, you’ll also perform a range of testing to validate business rules, data and metadata quality, security and performance. Contribution to the development and maintenance of data, business intelligence and machine learning engineering strategies and practices will be another part of your role.We are putting significant investment into bringing in the latest cloud technologies for big data, IoT, data science and machine learning.
