ASICS is the leader in technical footwear development, and we pride ourselves on building the finest products for sports enthusiast. Our high performing sales team are responsible for educating and selling our best-in-class technology to our retail partners to ensure we maintain growth in our wholesale business. So, what does in to making that happen? Build relationships with existing and new customers Present new product ranges to groups of retailers Develop and maintain effective customer relationships Manage existing portfolio of key customers Develop plans through product and sales forecasting Achieve budget revenue, gross margin, unit sales and core sales drivers Keep up to date with market and competitor intelligence Identify key market influencers and provide analysis of sports trend Analyse and report sales figures to maximise sales opportunities Identify new and innovation ideas for the footwear/apparel market Serve as liaison with clients regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities Coordinate and assist ongoing customer training on product knowledge In return, we offer: A permanent full-time opportunity Competitive salary car 17.5% annual leave loading paid parental leave Flexible hybrid work options Onsite gym and personal training sessions Generous staff discount – 25% off wholesale A collaborative, supportive and high performing team culture Opportunity to develop and give back through team and community events That’s enough about us Here’s what we’d like to see from you: Proven track record in sales ideally in the sporting/fashion brand industry - ideally with experience in footwear and apparel Experience in field-based sales experience, with a history of overachieving targets, preferably in new business acquisition Great communication and rapport building skills Excellent negotiation and influencing skills Excellent presentation skills A disciplined and professional approach to Sales Exceptional time management skills Familiarity using processes and systems (Microsoft Office, Excel intermediate, SAP desirable) Ability to deliver results in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Maximising customer retention through developing relationships with key accounts The ability to think strategically and identify key opportunities within the marketplace The ability to periodically travel to Northern NSW and Sydney metro areas Proven ability in driving overall brand and business in alignment with brand goals and guidelines Alignment to our values of Respect, Courtesy, Persistence, Teamwork, Preparation and Learning from Failure ASICS is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, where everyone’s ideas and contributions are respected.
