About the Role Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer. Reporting to our Engineering and Commissioning Manager this role will manage and execute electrical engineering projects from concept to completion. Key Duties and Responsibilities; Prepare Scope of Work for electrical projects, ensuring clear project objectives, timelines, and resource requirements Manage and execute electrical engineering projects, including feasibility studies, design, implementation, and commissioning. Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including engineering designs, specifications, reports, and project progress updates. Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems. Champion a safety-focused culture, conducting risk assessments, and implementing mitigation measures. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address electrical engineering requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. About You The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following; Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Proven experience of 5 to 7 years in electrical engineering with some experience in renewable energy industry will be highly desirable. Proficiency in using AutoCAD Electrical and power system analysis software. Familiarity with Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) software and developing PLC logic diagrams. Proficiency in using software tools specific to electrical design, such as EPLAN or similar. Demonstrated leadership abilities and mentoring experience.
