About the role As an Area Sales Manager you will report directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting and retaining a community of members across Queensland. Working within a close-knit and highly collaborative team, this role requires energy, determination, professionalism, and a keen eye for detail. You'll need to bring your commercial acumen, business development and negotiating prowess and the ability to efficiently manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment. Role and Responsibilities: Address incoming membership enquiries and close new member sign-ups. Identify and reach out to potential new members based on a well-defined target criteria. Conduct tours for prospective members and work toward maintaining full occupancy. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline while meticulously tracking all stages in the CRM system). Handle renewals, rate adjustmentsand additional membership requests for current members. Act as an advocate and ambassador across professional forums, conferences, exhibitions, social media groups, and press interviews. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Be able to start a full-time position in October or December 2023. A minimum of 6 years sales or business development experience in the professional services industry, coworking, hospitality, real estate, memberships (gym) or similar fields. Exceptional communication skills with a talent for motivating and positively influencing both members and colleagues. Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Technical proficiency, including familiarity with software applications such as MS Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and Asana. Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot or similar platforms will be highly regarded.
