Afternoon Shift We’re seeking a qualified and committed Plant Electrician to join our Austral Bricks Plant in Golden Grove, SA. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for management of site changes and preventative maintenance relating to PLC network, SCADA and process control communications systems. Afternoon Shift Pattern – Monday to Thursday 2:45pm to 10:45pm, Friday 12:00pm to 6:00pm Duties include but are not limited to: • Assist and contribute to Operational Excellence initiatives. • Develop and maintain Standardised Work Method Statements. • Scope requirements for change management requests, identify solutions and action. • Scope Electrical Project requirements as requested, install, test and commission. • Ensure plant assets are fully maintained to promote efficient operation of equipment. • Plan required maintenance tasks so that any associated downtime is at a minimum. • Conduct proactive breakdown analysis and identify problem areas of the plant and review and detail solution proposals. • Train and educate maintenance personnel in the areas of PLC Network, SCADA and Process Control Communications Systems. Success Requirements • Electrical Trade Certificate. • Demonstrated experience in similar role. • Proven knowledge of using MEX CMMS System and IT Networking/Control Systems. • Adequate skill in Technical Trade aptitude and problem solving. • Strong attention to detail. • Strong ability to find technical fault finding. • Sound ability to read and understand schematic drawings, plans and specifications. • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and ensure quick response to emergency breakdowns.
