Engineer Production Date: 23 Oct 2023 Location: Mine FIFO, AU 8:6 Roster | FIFO Perth to Roy Hill Mine | Permanent Base Super FIFO Allowance 3 annual bonus schemes Company contribution towards private health cover for employees and immediate family Be part of an innovative and technologically advanced mine site About the role: Responsible for all site mining engineering aspects including direction to set up the mine's development activity, implementation of the weekly schedule, and facilitating its execution. Contribute to shaping practical and productive schedules for load and haul activities, as well as drill and blast operations. Duties: Generate mine designs including ramps, haul roads and dumps/stockpiles Develop mine backfill and haulage strategies to ensure safe and efficient production Optimise the weekly and monthly schedules to safely meet production targets Provide guidance and collaborate with stakeholders to enable safe delivery of the plan Ensure that risks to plan are proactively identified, escalated, and controlled. Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or mining science (or similar) Post graduate experience as a mining engineer across either mine planning, scheduling, production and/or drill and blast in open cut mining operations Demonstrated experience with mine design software (e.g. Vulcan & Alastri) Excellent people skills; able to influence and communicate effectively Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, schedule, organise and establish work.
