Their small close-knit team on Brisbane’s northside based at Virginia are adding to their Logistics team to support this expansion adding an experienced Warehouse Customer Service Logistics Assistant who will also speak with customers who are mums over the phone and in person. Products for Mum & Babies. Successful Customer Service Warehouse Assistant should have exceptional customer service, math and analytical skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills. Ideal candidates are to have previous warehouse customer service warehouse logistics assistant experience, an intermediate knowledge of word, excel and outlook, and a valid driver’s license. This role will see you work closely with the Administration Coordinator, Logistics & Warehouse Manager. Experience with SAP Inventory preferred but not essential. 2 years’ experience in Warehouse and inventory control. Excellent math and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Walkie, forklift experience required. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating records. Monthly Cycle Counts. Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures. Stocking and distributing supplies. Daily Duties: Picking and Packing Booking of freight Receipt and put away of stock Dispatch Answering of phone and customer service inquiries Batch Control Physical work involved e.g. putting stock away and unloading container approx. every 3 months. Stock is light up to 10kg. Cleaning of warehouse and adhoc duties Stickering/Re-work Some product testing required.
