The Role PLC invites applications for a full-time 12-month parental leave replacement position of Art Teacher. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a specialty in ceramics and sculpture and / or creative digital art and photography. The Art Teacher will teach across Years 7-10. Experience in VCE Art Making and Exhibiting or Creative Practice would be advantageous. This role would suit an accomplished art educator who is keen to apply their knowledge and skills within a leading independent girls’ school. You will enjoy working with a highly accomplished team of art educators who are focused on creative, reflective development of curriculum and outcomes for our students. About You You are an accomplished and engaging Art Teacher who is passionate about working with ceramics and sculpture and / or creative digital art and photography. Through your teaching practice, you are able to inspire and foster student interest and excellent in these subject areas. We are seeking an individual who will have the ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students. You will also have the ability to work proactively and collaboratively with your peers, to effectively plan and deliver units of work and related assessments.
