We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Arndell Park. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, installation, and troubleshooting of all production-based equipment, plant, and machinery. The primary objective is to maintain operational efficiency and minimise downtime. Key Responsibilities: Experience in High-Tempo FMCG Production: The ideal candidate must have experience in a high-tempo, on-demand production environment within the FMCG food and beverage industry. Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Proficiency in both Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (SM) is essential to keep our equipment and machinery running at their best. Compliance and Safety: Thorough knowledge and understanding of HACCP, GMP, safety standards, and food processing machinery, including conveyor belt systems. Post-Trade Experience: A minimum of 2 years' post-trade experience as an electrician is required to excel in this role. Mechanical Aptitude: The ability to "think on your feet" and demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude is crucial for addressing unforeseen situations and production requirements effectively. Technical Expertise: Must be a trade-qualified electrician with extensive experience in fault finding, instrumentation, PLC, and automation systems, including conveyors, drives, VSD, safety circuits, and robots. Hands-On Experience: Proven experience working in a "hands-on" operational environment, where you'll be actively involved in maintaining and troubleshooting machinery. CMMS Utilization: Proficiency in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to issue spares and raise and complete work orders is essential for this role.
