LEAP is a Defence project for the supply and operation of living-in accommodation for single members of the Australian Defence Force. Our team provides essential facility management services across these sites. The work that you do plays a critical part in keeping our Australian Defence Force safe and comfortable. The Position Based in Darwin, and reporting to the Regional Manager; We are looking for an experienced Electrician, to work across 2 sites in our Defence Portfolio. This role is ideally suited to someone Darwin based, looking for long term project security, with a global organisation. With a Monday to Friday, 38-hour work week, you will receive an attractive salary package, and an annual allowance as compensation for your role as the Electrical Nominee. Vehicle, phone and laptop is also provided. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following; Electrical Nominee for the Northern Territory Planned and Reactive Maintenance of Electrical Assets across sites Fire System Repairs and Maintenance (including Honeywell Systems: Training provided) Participating in driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance Fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation The Person Trade Qualified, with maintenance experience Previous experience in facilities maintenance, and the ability to work autonomously Demonstrable understanding of applicable standards, and legislation Driver's License and Australian Citizenship is mandatory Medical (Functional with Drug and Alcohol test) and National Police Clearance will be required for the successful candidate The Benefits As a Team Member with Compass Group, you will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
