About The Company: Our client is a leading medical device company dedicated to improving the lives of patients by developing innovative products. We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our client's team and ensure the smooth operation of their receiving and distribution. Their site is located in Lane Cove West industrial park. Responsibilities: Loading and unloading of containers, Receiving and dispatch, Lifting boxes and packing/unpacking/re-packing cartons, Operating machines (crating/uncrating), Pallet compiling and & wrapping (plastic bags and films), Inventory control and stock management, Dealing with courier companies - both local & overseas, Preparing documents and using warehouse software (training will be provided), Sweeping out the warehouse, Occasionally performing some production related tasks and label printing. Qualifications and experience: 2 years warehousing experience, Strong paperwork skills with an eye for detail, Customer service experience, Clear communication and good phone manner, Energetic, personable manner, Ability to take control of this job and work independently, Manual lifting (up to 25kg), Readiness to work overtime when required, Forklift licence and production experience will be highly regarded.
