THE ROLE The Brand, Content and Creative team within Group Marketing is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to assist in the management and execution of projects for multi-marketing campaigns and initiatives, provide design advice and support, and produce corporate and marketing collateral to maximize the impact of the creative content of University wide communications. Reporting to the Director, Brand, Content and Creative, this role will: Under the direction of the Director, Content & Creative manage and execute projects for multi-marketing campaigns and initiatives. Provide design advice and support to the wider Group Marketing teams and key clients ensuring compliance with the University brand strategy and guidelines. Consult with key clients and stakeholders across the University to understand and evaluate their content and design needs, and make recommendations on the appropriate communication channels. Design and develop print and digital marketing materials, publications and collateral, and visual communication initiatives to meet clients' needs aligned with the marketing strategy. Design and develop creative content tailored for each audience group and communication channels to maximise engagement consistent with the Macquarie identity. Liaise with, and assist in the management of, external providers to conceptualise and create designs for marketing campaigns and publications, ensuring supplier accreditation, compliance with approval processes, brand strategy and guidelines. About You We're in search of a versatile graphic designer with a broad skill set, catering to various channels, including print, digital, and motion graphics. Our ideal candidate should be proficient in utilising publishing software, including Adobe Creative Suite. An understanding of video editing, motion, and digital design software like After Effects, Figma, or Sketch is highly regarded. You should also possess a keen understanding of client briefs, the ability to assess content requirements, offer insights on content and design choices, and suggest suitable communication channels for our clients. Furthermore, we require a strong understanding of project coordination and effective stakeholder management.
