Our 2-year Graduate Program is an accelerated leadership development program that equips our graduates with the experiences, knowledge and skills to move quickly into management roles at Brickworks. These are not roles for narrow technical specialists but for broadly capable, future operational leaders. We are recruiting for the Engineering/Manufacturing stream of the Program within our Austral Bricks business division based at Horsley Park. As part of a broad, hands-on role, graduates will gain diverse experiences within the lab and production floor, including quality control, product development, process improvement as well as across business planning, financial reporting, WHS and sales. Success Requirements We are looking for graduates who can demonstrate they have potential to be the future leaders of our business and we are particularly interested in receiving applications from Chemical Engineers, Process Engineers, Ceramic and Materials Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, or Electrical Engineers who have completed their degrees within the past 5 years. In addition we are looking for candidates who: • Have a strong motivation to learn and develop and are looking to build a career with us. • Can build relationships and interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals. • Are achievement oriented and driven to deliver results through their resourcefulness. • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Are pragmatic and hands-on in style. We have a clear vision and company values, and we are looking for people who embody them. You will need to be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident to apply. A valid driver’s licence and access to your own transport is also essential. Some of our key projects are located across the country, so a willingness to relocate to other company sites when required is also desirable.
