The Role Reporting into the Lead Construction Manager, the Substation Construction department are seeking a qualified Electrical Construction Manager to join their team . The Construction Manager is responsible for managing and completing projects allocated by the Lead Construction Manager, in a safe, efficient, timely and cost-effective manner through the diligent management of people, subcontractors and resources. The Construction Manager actively provides leadership and guidance to construction crews, as well as coordinating day to day operations, managing budgets and planning / scheduling of work. This role is based at Direk, however, depending on operational requirements will be required to fulfil an 11:3 bush fortnight working schedule depending on locations of required within South Australia. What you’ll need electrical trade qualification; and or experience in construction industry; experience in construction of substation and/or high voltage infrastructure projects; current SA drivers licence; current first aid and CPR certification; and will be required to work away depending on pipeline of work (11:3 working pattern).
