Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time position. My client is an established, reputable supplier of automation equipment and consumables to the FMCG manufacturing and packaging sectors throughout Australia. They have recognised a need to appoint a Warehouse manager in their Homebush facility. They are looking for a Warehouse Manager who can work closely with our existing warehouse, spare parts, sales and engineering staff to meet our growing customer demand. This role will mainly involve the coordination of key activities and ensuring goods and equipment are available to meet customer and project needs. This is a hands-on role as it is the only role exclusively allocated to the warehouse. However, other staff regularly assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse activities subject to their own job demands. Key roles and responsibilities: Overseeing and coordinating the day to day inbound and outbound warehouse activities. Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment at all times in accordance with WHS standards and policies. Meet regularly with management to discuss stock levels, stock control and procurement activities. Manage procurement activities, including purchasing, delivery and storage . Source, prepare and allocate equipment and materials for use on individual jobs and projects Maintain key internal and external relationships The successful applicant will have: Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal License to operate a forklift To apply for this role, please upload your resume through Seek.
