Apply now Refer someone Join the Home Loan Broker Sales team, reporting to the State Manager NSW/ACT, within our Personal Banking division, a fast-growing business within our Banking & Financial Services Group. We are looking for an experienced, committed, and driven professional with strong people and sales management skills, and home loan product and broker industry knowledge, to join our high performing leadership team. This role will encompass oversight of NSW/ACT Home Loan Business Development Management teams, who are responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience through a relationship centric culture. Supporting the State Manager to manage the State team effectively and achieve our market share objectives. Leading, coaching and developing a group of Business Development Manager's and fostering a high-performance culture that celebrates success, and supports learning, personal development and growth. Ensuring your Business Development Manager's are accountable for sales and quality outcomes through portfolio and pipeline management. Supporting your Business Development Manager's in the development of relationships with existing and new brokers. Ensuring that the loan quality and risk management around each relationship meets our expectations, policies and procedures. Maintaining awareness of the strengths/weaknesses, product offerings and pricing information of competitors, to understand our competitiveness. Providing professional guidance to brokers, educating, and improving performance and customer experience. Participating in strategic projects, stakeholder engagement and key priorities within the business. Occasionally, relieving the State Manager during their vacations. Collaborating with the rest of the Personal Banking leadership team to create an inclusive and psychologically safe working environment. What you offer? Strong leadership skills along with the ability to motivate a team, communicate expectations, and develop the team's capability. Excellent industry knowledge of Australia's home loan broker market, home loan products, and home loan credit policies and processes. Established relationships in Australia's home loan broker market, including with Aggregators at their State Manager level. Proven experience in building internal and external relationships. Proven track record in managing business and operations pressures and customer expectations. Ability to identify and drive data-based decisions to deliver continuous improvement, transformational initiatives, or projects. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and commercial mindset. Experience managing and driving changes in a fast-moving environment, using Agile ways of working. Detailed understanding of the complete end-to-end home lending application process used in the broker market. Excellent communication skills, including presenting to large audiences.
