YOUR NEW ROLE The Broadcast Studio Audio Engineer is responsible for facilitating the day to day audio operations of the Broadcast Studio. Working under the direction of the Head of Recording & Broadcast, this role will assist with the planning and delivery of audio projects from conception through to completion, including designing and implementing technical workflows in response to a creative brief, configuring and operating Broadcast Studio technology, booking and liaising with the creative and technical teams, the creation of, and distribution of, recording & broadcast event information, as well as liaising with key stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective communication. This role also assists the Head of Recording and Broadcast to ensure effective and efficient operations and workflows, whilst delivering exceptional service to all clients. We are looking for someone with: • Qualifications or equivalent industry experience in digital media, arts or live event technical production. • Demonstrated experience working with creative, technical or production teams. • Technical expertise in audio pre-production, production and/or post-production systems and/or workflows. • High level demonstrated abilities with audio mixing systems in respect to recording, broadcast, live streaming and post production operations. • Comprehensive knowledge of digital audio transport systems including common AoIP protocols as well as IP/Wi-Fi networks for use with system control. • Ability to work quickly under pressure and prioritise work. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Flexibility and commitment to continuous improvement. • Excellent organisational, analytical and decision-making skills.
