Join the purple team of a top 50 ASX organization Manual security testing and dynamic responsibilities Phenomenal career growth initiatives Permanent role based in Sydney or Melbourne The Red Team Security Engineer will be responsible for the following: Contributing to red and purple team engagements across the organization. Assisting in the design and building of the red teaming security capability and platform. Actively mentoring cyber security team members across the organization. Establishing and improving offensive security services and practices. Collaborating with the Cyber Defense team, assisting with the cyber security strategy. Conducting assessments and reports and communicating them to top executives, tech leads and non-technical business stakeholders. Liaising with internal and external customers and stakeholders - Cyber Leads and Heads of Cyber Security, SMEs, Operation and IR Leads, Service Delivery Leads and Product Owners - and providing them with actionable intel. In order to be successful, the Red Team Security Engineer will ideally have most of the following requirements: Proven experience in conducting manual security testing Red and/or Purple teaming experience Experience engaging stakeholders, and collaborating with cyber defence teams and product teams Exposure to a cloud environment, knowledge of infrastructure, network, and web security Experience with C, C++, C#, Java and Python CREST CRT, CCT INF, CCSAS, SANS GIAC GXPN or GDAT, Zero Point Security RTO or equivalent certifications are highly desirable This is the right opportunity for a resilient and experienced Red Team Security Engineer with superb communication skills, who thrives in challenging environments and seeks an opportunity to stamp their mark within one of Australia's largest employers.
