We have an exciting opportunity for a results-driven and team-focused Regional Sales Manager to join our Neuromodulation business. This role is based in Melbourne . Reporting to the Country Manager , this position is responsible for managing the sales function for selected accounts within your region. This role will work within a team of very capable and passionate individuals committed to getting the best outcomes for the patients and the customers that we serve. Responsibilities include (and not limited to): - Develop a strong teamwork environment and create a culture of high performance for the team - Actively implement and execute on strategies to improve the sales force effectiveness (SFE) of reports including, routine coaching of selling skills, review of business development plans and consistent performance feedback - Negotiate major deals and oversee tenders with customers and other stakeholders in conjunction with senior management, sales managers and field staff - Roll-out marketing strategies as directed - Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and customers, to develop sales and business strategies in line with company strategies - Assist in the field with implants and follow-ups of certified Neuromodulation products where required - Manage stock control requirements Who we're looking for: - Tertiary qualifications in biomedical / engineering / medical science / human movement or related field essential; post grad qualifications in Business viewed favourably - Previous experience working in the medical devices, healthcare or pharmaceutical industry in a sales management role leading sales/technical teams - Proven track record in delivering sales targets in a complex, solution selling environment - Good understanding of the industry process and function; able to convincingly discuss this with customers, as well as internal and external experts - Certified in SCS or DBS products advantageous - Collaborative leadership style to develop meaningful relationships; ability to effectively coach and develop a team - Impressive communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills - Growth mindset and easily adapt to shifts in business strategy and ongoing change - A persistent and resilient nature, with high levels of self-drive Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement date and maintain a fully vaccinated status for the period of employment.
