THE OPPORTUNITY The Office of Teaching and Learning at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative, and supportive environment aimed at promoting quality educational practice for current and future Vocational Educational and Training teachers. The Department is currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated individuals to effectively design, teach and assess within the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course in 2023 and TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2024.Salary: $85.25 p/h to $88.60 p/h 11% superannuation.Location: Chadstone Campus.WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.Position Status: Casual.ABOUT YOUYou will have comprehensive knowledge and skills in the following:Teaching within the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or related TAE Training Package qualifications/skill sets.Adult teaching and learning principles and strategies that support successful learner outcomes.VET sector governance and compliance and industry standards.Implementation of inclusive educational practices in teaching and learning design and delivery.Promoting diversity within the workplace and learning environment.Highly effective online teaching and learning strategies, including proficient use of learning management systems and the development of engaging online resources.Qualifications and experience:Relevant experience in the vocational education sector including teaching in TAE Training Package qualifications.Adult Vocational Education and Training qualification at AQF Level 5 or aboveCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); orCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent unitsABOUT USHolmesglen is a leading education provider, valued by local and international learners, industry and the community.
