Role description: Off the back of growing demand in our Rail team, we are looking for a Systems and Safety Assurance Engineer with in-depth experience in Rail who can deliver efficient high-quality Systems and Safety Assurance engineering to our projects, as well as identify opportunities to help develop and grow our team in Melbourne. Role accountabilities: The Systems and Safety Assurance Engineer role will provide specialist advice for local state-based projects for the following Systems Assurance functions: Requirements Management (RM) Lead Safety in Design (SiD) processes Systems Engineering (SE) Safety Assurance (SA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) review works Lead and provide assistance in maintaining existing accreditation, incl. Competency assessments Qualifications & Experience: First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You value and enjoy working within a supportive, people focused culture. You are an experienced systems engineer with relevant tertiary qualifications, and you will come to us with: Significant experience in safety and systems assurance, in particular supporting projects managers with your technical expertise The agility to work across multiple projects; problem solving, contributing to bids and tenders and training junior engineers A track record in delivering high-quality work to effectively build and maintain client relationships Rail industry experience will be highly regarded.
