The pretty valley is a beautiful base for exploring gorgeous beaches, tranquil waterways and beautiful national parks.  Imagine Rural What you'll be doing The Pharmacy Assistant/Technician provides technical support to the Pharmacy Department in all areas of hospital pharmacy practice under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Selection Criteria Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities required to work in hospital pharmacy. Recognised qualification in the field recognised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or qualifications deemed by SNSWLHD to be equivalent (as per award) will enable appointment as a Pharmacy Assistant Grade 2 (Cert III) or a Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 (Cert III) or Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 (Cert IV). If no recognised qualifications held, appointment will be as Pharmacy Assistant, Grade 1. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients and within a healthcare team. Demonstrated organisation skills, meeting deadlines, attention to details and ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to effectively use computer programs relevant to the hospital/pharmacy systems. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays. Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive  PD2022_030 .  All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs. All NSW Health Category A workers are required to have received at least three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
