The role of Senior Contract Administrator: We are looking for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our growing team in Melbourne working across a $150m Residential project. Through effective monitoring, reporting and review of all project administrative and financial procedures and controls, the Senior Contract Administrator is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the project’s contractual management requirements are met, Ensuring projects are delivered on time, in accordance with contractual obligations and meeting the company’s project objectives. Responsibilities: Ensure all subcontractors and suppliers are engaged under formal instruments of agreement prior to commencement Measure and control variations, validate and approve through the appropriate contract framework Complete reports as required, issue progress claims, all aspects of subcontractor progress claims, tax invoices and management of security of payments related issues are completed in a timely manner Reports are completed on time , issue progress claims, complete all aspects of subcontractor progress claims, tax invoices and management of security of payments related issues in a timely manner Responsibly administer the head contract as directed by the Project Manager in line with the Head Contract provision Process all accounts on time, prepare and update forecasts monthly as directed by the Project Manager to support company deadlines. Ensure procurement activities meet financial targets by managing approved budgets and contingencies Responsible for managing all approved procurement activities in line with approval authorities matrix Accurately compile tender lists, compile tender documents, and review tender drawings Ensure tender letting programmes are aligned to project dates and consideration is documented for procurement of trades Assist in the mentoring of Cadets and Graduates about the commercial function for the project Skills and experience required: You will have Tertiary Qualifications with at least 7 years of Contract Administration experience in the Construction industry. Large scale construction project experience, in differing sectors ideally health Working on projects from $90m ideally with apartment, commercial, datacentre or health sectors.
