The key purpose of this role is to develop and enhance Kimberly-Clark's business with our customers and in so doing achieve regional sales growth and profitability targets for K-C and our retail partners. Key facets of the role include leading the internal and external business agenda with a particular focus on enhancing joint business planning (JBP), and transfer of best practice to achieve profitable sales growth out-performance for Kimberly-Clark within defined customers and channels. Key Responsibilities: To lead and manage the performance and capability of the Sales team in order to achieve and exceed budgeted results for volume, GSV, NSV, operating and gross profit, and to grow K-C's share in customer/channel. To influence K-C's strategic direction in Australia with regard to trading, channel, customer and brand strategy, and to influence other K-C departments' priorities to support delivery of sustainable and profitable channel growth through customer aligned strategies and programs. Success will be measured by achieving profitable growth forecast and delivery within all key customers over the 3-5-year planning horizon and achieve top 10 Advantage group results in all customer manager categories. To develop and implement joint business plans which enable K-C brands to grow profitably and achieve budgeted targets whilst supporting profitable retailer category growth. Be a key leader in the ANZ leadership team contributing to the development and delivery of the ANZ transformation agenda, 3-5 year strategic business plan, great place to work and people strategy. Job Requirements Proven success as a Sales Director/Head of Sales in a large, multi-Channel and category consumer products business; must have experience of operating in a blue-chip environment where they will have had exposure to best-in-class approach to Category and Account Management. Expert authority and knowledge of all the operational and commercial performance levers, such as Revenue Transformation (RGM/NRM), Go-To-Market strategy and E-commerce. Has led sustained improvement in profit and top line performance. Ability to own a category discussion putting the company on the front foot with Retailers. Experienced in working with major Retailers, with a strong network of contacts in leading Grocery Multiples and proven relationship management skills. Understands the shifting dynamics in the Retail landscape and can adapt to meet the needs of their organization. Substantive illustration of managing change, understands the measures required to step change sales performance of an organization. Strong analytics, able to stand back and evaluate data, a rigorous and creative approach to problem solving. Has the capability to transform it into actionable strategy which is measurable. Strong appreciation of the importance of NPD and innovation to the ongoing development of a progressive brand led organization, with experience of successful NPD sales launches. People management skills and structural know how, with an extensive track record of building successful results-oriented teams. Experience of working in partnership with Marketing and NPD as part of a Commercial Team which is financially disciplined for profit achievement. Play an integral role working collaboratively as a key stakeholder to drive KC's Supply Chain transformation.
