Closing Date: 9 AM Tuesday 24 October 2023 face2face reference: 591792 Location: Darwin, NT Hours: Full-Time Contract length: 12 Month Contract Entry requirements: Australian Citizen Pay range: $55.24 p/h ex super About the Role: The APS 5 Co-Design and Engagement is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position. The position is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation. The successful candidate will be required to undertake specialist activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to business objectives. The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries. Duties: Educate, inform and liaise with mainstream services to improve stakeholder experience and increase social and economic participation. Maintain local relationships with relevant key stakeholders to support effective engagement. Represent the business at external forums and events, providing information and guidance to stakeholders. Manage the state/territory engagement inbox, acting as a point of escalation for the triaging of enquiries and requests. Required experience/skills: This role will require some weekend work. There will be some travel intrastate and interstate with the possibility of travelling to remote and very remote locations. Regular interactions with stakeholders such as organisations and the general public will require strong stakeholder management skills. While not mandatory a driver's licence will be valuable for the role due to potential travel to remote and very remote locations.
