Your role will see you be involved in structural design of building projects focused in the commercial, retail, health, industrial, high rise and education sectors. The are opportunities for training and to work in the mining or transport sector if you desire. What Areas Can you Make a Difference? Specialising in structural engineering design for Property and Building projects, encompassing all design facets. Generating design sketches and detailed plans for technical staff to draft, while also supervising design evolution and documentation. Collaborating with and coordinating among diverse stakeholders, including clients, local government entities, and regulatory authorities. Ensuring timely project delivery and a high level of precision to meet client expectations. Conducting on-site inspections when necessary. Strong communication and liaison abilities to engage with clients and other engineers. Strong practical understanding, proactive high-level thinking, and high attention to detail. Strong knowledge of applicable Australian Standards, Local Government Authority Standards, statutory and regulatory requirements. Exposure to developing structural design across a range of project cycles utilising relevant standards and best practice methodologies.
