Apply today About the department Novo Nordisk Oceania is a high performing affiliate within a mature pharma market environment. You will have the opportunity to liaise with colleagues from the Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory departments located at the North Sydney Head Office, while developing and implementing territory business plans and prospecting new customers to drive sales results for our new and existing products. As GP (General Practitioner) Sales Representative, you will join our high performing Diabetes sales team that promotes and/or sells Novo Nordisk products across multiple or non-specified channels in a designated territory. You will report directly to the State Sales Manager for the New South Wales (NSW) region. The position In this role, you will be promoting the therapy area of Diabetes to General Practitioners, Pharmacists, and nurses across the NSW region in Canberra and the country territory of Gundagai and Tumut. The territory will require regular travel across the defined region including outside of the metro area. You will enjoy variety, autonomy, strong working relationships with customers, and the chance to promote a lifesaving drug. Qualifications An individual with pharmaceutical sales experience who can hit the ground running with an entrepreneurial flair, who has ideally worked, and lives on or near the advertised geographical territory. Must have a minimum of 2 years' GP sales experience, a minimum of 1 year in the pharmaceutical industry or have a proven track record of building and maintaining access to a network of healthcare professionals within pharmaceutical sales. Completed a tertiary education preferably in Life Sciences, Nursing, Paramedical or Business field. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Must hold a valid driver's licence, be willing and able to do regular travel away from home and open to render extended work hours occasionally including on weekends.
