In his position, you will be responsible for financial and accounting operations across our clients, Ecommerce, and NZ operations. This will involve closely aligning with our strategic corporate plan to meet our business and financial objectives. As part of the team reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in handling a spectrum of management reporting, ensuring compliance, and accounting functions for a globally renowned FMCG company. This is an optimal opportunity for an Analyst or Management Accountant looking to join a highly recognised business. Description Provide accurate financial data for strategic decision-making. Establish internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity. Evaluate projects and support compliance with governance standards. Manage treasury, credit controls, and cash to optimize daily liquidity. Collaborate with Group's shared service team for transactions. Maintain strong financial controls, reconcile accounts, and post journal entries. Liaise with auditors, government authorities, and handle tax matters. Streamline finance processes and software integration. Monitor working capital, set targets for receivables and payables. Offer support to other brands within the group as needed. Ensure proper financial closing and compliant reporting. Prepare and review annual budgets and semi-annual forecasts. Conduct accurate Intercompany Accounting with business entities. Communicate actual vs. budget marketing spend for efficiency. Update sales analysis reports weekly and monthly, including budgets, Trackers. Track and recommend cost-saving measures against budget. Manage cash, assets, and approve new customer accounts. Proactively learn and stay updated on product knowledge. Complete required training and participate in development programs. Comply with Workplace Health and Safety policies, report incidents. Efficiently utilize company tools and applications. Active participation on company-provided platforms. Adhere to Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines. Perform additional ad hoc duties as required by your manager. Profile Tertiary qualification and at least 3 years' experience working within a commercial environment post qualification. Studying towards CA/CPA or fully qualified is essential. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably from a high-volume retail or service-based industry. Proven strong performance within a high volume and high turnover retail environment. Essential advanced excel and Microsoft suite skills. Exceptional written and verbal skills.
