The Role: Our Adelaide office is currently seeking an experienced L1 - L2 IT Service Desk Engineer. In this full-time position you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and delivering a high level of service to our clients. You will be responsible for promptly resolving client issues, managing service requests, and working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service. The key areas of focus are: IT Support and Customer Service – at efex it’s all about our clients. You will assist our clients with IT support queries whilst delivering a high level of service. Reporting and Administration – to ensure consistency, it is necessary to follow and maintain the right processes and procedures. To do this, the role requires ticket notes, timesheets, and documentation to be written up in detail and kept up to date. About You: Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider highly regarded Excellent customer service skills Strong understanding of backup and recovery processes Experience with Remote Management and Monitoring tools Experience with ConnectWise Strong server, switch, router, firewall and storage experience Ability to apply security best practices to all designs and implementations Active Directory diagnostic & resolution skills Office 365 diagnostic & resolution skills Azure experience VOIP experience. Technical skills are only part of what the role entails, you will also need to demonstrate: The desire and willingness to constantly learn internal systems and keep abreast of new and emerging technologies. A pleasant demeanour and positive approach to servicing our clients Excellent communication skills The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively.
