The successful candidate will perform protein engineering workflows including molecular biology, antibody expression and purification, binding studies, developability assessments and analytical characterisations. The role will also require working closely with cross-functional teams. How you'll spend your day Conduct research and development (planning, execution, and interpretation) on novel therapeutic antibody projects. Focus on protein production, screening, and characterising antibodies. This is a lab-based role which includes: Protein expression, purification, and characterisation Applying techniques such as mammalian cell culture, SPR, ELISAs, HPLC, FPLC Analytical method development Implementing high throughput antibody purification and characterization workflows to support antibody hit identification and optimization Providing regular updates to key stakeholders through presentations, authoring reports, and maintaining experimental records in a timely manner using electronic lab notebooks Providing general research/laboratory support, including ordering, and maintaining consumables, interacting with suppliers, and representing the team on various committees Training of junior staff members as required Your experience and qualifications Bachelor's Degree with honours in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related discipline Previous experience in industry-based R&D will be highly regarded Practical experience in protein reagent generation and characterisations is desirable An active interest in therapeutic drug discovery and development Ability to work independently and collaborate with larger team Be well organised and able to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously while working within a team Attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills Enjoy a more rewarding choice Work with a motivated team of scientists in state-of-the-art laboratories Generous leave, health, and wellbeing benefits Commitment to ongoing personal & professional growth via a blend of learning opportunities Parking available at our Macquarie Park site Opportunity to join a leading global organisation with a network of 37,000 employees operating in 60 markets, with 25 R&D sites Make a difference with Teva Pharmaceuticals Please submit your CV and a cover letter responding to the selection criteria outlining relative keys skills and experience in relation to this role.
