Join a growing renewable energy business involved in C&I and utility scale solar projects Energised Talent Solutions is currently partnered with a highly reputable renewable energy business with a strong reputation for delivering bespoke solutions for their customers, across the C&I and utility scale solar and BESS markets. With continued growth planned, they are now looking to hire a control systems engineer to join their expanding specialist team in their Sydney head office. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for: • Design and development: preparation of specifications, datasheets and purchasing packages • Implementation: testing, commissioning and monitoring new renewable energy plants • Providing support to project teams, subcontractors and customers • Performing preventative maintenance services, attending to occasional call-outs • Monitoring all sites regularly to ensure all components are in working order, communication and data logging is working as expected • Managing the remote monitoring system • Preparing design documents for customer proposals It is expected, to be successful that you will have: • SCADA / control system design and implementation experience • previous exposure to pilot to scale up projects • ability to translate customer and business requirements into feasible and sustainable design • strong knowledge retention bias, including documentation control • solid understanding of WHS and quality / other relevant regulatory requirements • plant operations experience is an advantage; • renewable energy experience is an advantage but not essential In return, this opportunity presents a unique opening for someone with no previous renewable energy experience to be able to make that transition into the field, or presents the opportunity for someone with renewable energy expertise the opportunity to grow, develop and secure long term career progression opportunities.
