Role description: We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with major infrastructure project experience to join our independent certifiers team. This role will see you overseeing day-to-day management of the team and contractors on site. Role accountabilities: Supervise site engineers and surveillance officers who undertake on-site inspections, ensuring a high quality of work Management of budget, program and subcontractors On-going supervision of work practices and ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality procedures Identify and investigate non-conformances, ensuring appropriate measures are implemented to prevent reoccurrence Compiling reports, responding to RFI's, and other records management including project registers Review and verification of quality records in accordance with contractual obligations and compliance Provide guidance and training to on-site project teams and ensure they have a sound understanding of the quality requirements Qualifications & Experience: First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and embrace the values of a strong safety culture. You are a tertiary qualified civil engineer with significant site-based experience on complex infrastructure projects and come to us with: A sound understanding of quality procedures and documentation required to see a project through to completion Experience managing teams and subconsultants on a construction site Roads and rail and heavy civil structure experience is advantageous Knowledge of Australian Standards and VicRoads specifications Well-rounded communication skills and the ability to modify your approach to achieve positive outcomes with various stakeholder groups including clients and contractors Proficiency in contracts administration, project management and delivery of technical reports An approachable leadership style and the ability to proactively participate in project teams Why Arcadis?
