Selenium C# THE ROLE - Join this Global (and fast growing) SAAS Tech firm in a newly created position as Lead Test Engineer Join a high quality, highly engaged, globally dispersed, Automated Test team. Develop Load, performance Test automation for high availability, high traffic systems - Ensure the development of a unit testing approach, executed by the development team, to ensure unit tests are created for all new functionality. Ensure automated test scripts are written for all new major pieces of work ยท Be responsible for the design and development of automated tools and other test environments that help maintain the quality of the platforms. Collaborate with other Engineers to deliver solutions aligned to the organisation's strategic roadmap. Work collaboratively with the rest of the IT structure to ensure solutions are well supported. Understand that in a global business you'll need to develop relationships with people outside of your timezone. Promote the use of Agile development. Work with Senior Engineers, other Lead Engineers, and the Software Development Manager to deliver solutions and develop timelines. Work with the Service Desk and Product team to manage escalated incidents. Deliver resilient, extensible, supportable integrations solutions. YOU - Contribute to defining and delivering Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports and Test Risks and Issues. Proven experience in test engineering teams Can develop and rollout test harnesses, frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to enable test automation for browser UIs, APIs, and databases. Use of git-based source control and CI/CD. Experience with test automation frameworks Able to see the work needed outside of the Agile processes to create a holistic supportive test / test-automation environment. Have implemented load and performance test frameworks for high transaction systems. Able to see the work needed outside of the Agile processes to create a holistic supportive test / test-automation environment Know how to work with product and development leads to lead multi-disciplinary teams to successful delivery of product development roadmaps. Experience with a blend of automated, semi-automated, and manual testing. Be able to contribute on the successes and value of the team Embedding of quality and security posture across teams, with a keen understanding of data protection requirements. TECH - C# Selenium Typescript, Jasmine & Karma Selenium with c# Nunit RestSharp Postman Jmeter Bitbucket Jira, Confluence Postman or other REST clients. Docker Desktop, building and running containers AWS services such as ECS, Fargate, Aurora, CloudWatch. Have worked in a data engineering environment, familiar with Python / Familiarity with Behaviour Driven Development. Have worked as part of a global team across multiple timezones Delivered publicly available systems with identity management Identity management and identity providers, OAuth 2.0, SAML, etc. API lifecycle and management, and iPaaS platforms. Have built Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment systems, including package management and orchestration. Have worked with UI/UX specialists as part of developing solutions, and understand the need for your solutions to be accessible. Experience operating in an Agile and Scrum of Scrums environments.
