Our team is dynamic, fast-paced and they help to make Australia healthier in their roles every day About SUMHIIT Fitness: SUMHIIT Fitness, an emerging fitness franchise concept, is a hyper-condensed, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) group workout that packs 50 minutes of supercharged exercise into only 35 minutes. Coach-led throughout the session, participants alternate every 60 seconds between heart-thumping cardio on the air bike and strength moves on the floor that keep muscles guessing. The workout unites those who love to push hard, sweat hard and celebrate wins together, creating an intense training experience unique to the fitness industry. The Role: As a SUMHIIT Fitness Sales Associate, you will be part of a dynamic team that positively affects the lives of our members on a daily basis. Reporting directly to the Studio Manager, you will play a critical role in upholding best-in-class customer service for our members as well as inspiring prospective new members to start their fitness journeys with the SUMHIIT family. As the Sales Associate, you will directly contribute to the operational success of a fast-paced fitness studio and build relationships with all members of the SUMHIIT community. This position is a part-time opportunity that requires a commitment of up to 15 hours per week. Day to day will include: Greeting members and guests promptly, enthusiastically and with a smile to create an amazing experience every time Communicating with prospective new members, understanding their needs and providing an appropriate membership recommendation Selling memberships, class packages and retail products to support the studio achieving monthly KPIs and revenue targets Organising and assisting in the operational success of SUMHIIT’S classes (creating seating charts, assisting members with check-in, setting guests up on bikes, helping re-organise equipment etc.) Maintaining the highest of cleanliness standards in and around our studio including regularly cleaning the lobby, training floor, studio equipment, storage areas and bathrooms Conducting lead management activities including telephone inquiries and follow up calls with prospective new members and guests Supporting SUMHIIT’S referral program by routinely inviting members of the community to bring friends, families and coworkers into the studio Participating in new member outreach activities and field marketing events Experience and about you: Displays enthusiasm, energy and a passion for health and fitness Customer Service or retail experience Sales experience preferred Naturally connects with a range of people and personalities Team player with the ability to work collaboratively Independent self-starter who constantly looks for ways to achieve, contribute and solve problems Stays calm under pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional phone etiquette Basic fitness acumen Comfortable using technology and learning new systems for a variety of member related daily tasks Ability to also coach classes in studio would be desirable (but not essential) The Perks: We practice what we preach You will be supported every day to live an active and healthy lifestyle, in a fun and passionate working environment.
