Exceptional communication and customer service skills Meet and greet all patients attending the Clinic - standing role General day to day up-keep and tidy of public areas Part Time - Meet and Greet/Customer Service Representative - Townsville The Townsville GP Superclinic has a vacancy for a Part Time ‘Meet and Greet, Customer Service Representative’ for our busy General Practice in Hyde Park Duties include, but not limited to: Exceptional communication and customer service skills Meet and greet all patients/clients attending the Clinic Assist with use of check-in kiosks and any customer service queries Help customers with using electronic equipment, guidance in a friendly and helpful manner Welcoming and key representation, regarding the clinic’s services General up-keep of public areas and waiting room, including keeping bathrooms tidy Able to follow strict infection control requirements, including screening of entering patients (re COVID19), in compliance with current guidelines Dealing with appointment delays and/or rescheduling Willingness to learn, be directed and follow procedures The ability, at times, to deal with difficult customers, remain calm under pressure Understanding of Receptionist duties, so information can be relayed to the patient/s in a professional manner Polite and empathic nature, ensuring Privacy is of the utmost importance Triage patients and be able to follow instructions, to ensure healthcare professionals can take control of situation This is a standing role - during shift required to move from booths/front entryways and reception desks Enjoy a fast-paced environment Good time management skills and ability to multi-task Computer knowledge Current driver’s licence (to drive automatic work car) for errands/collect supplies Previous customer service is advantageous, however not mandatory Australian citizenship or permanent residency essential Part Time position – shifts during Clinic opening hours 8am to 1pm Mon to Fri (25 hrs p/wk) To apply please send your CV and cover letter by email Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted Start date - as soon as possible
