Min. 12 month contract (strong potential for FT conversion) $450 per day incl super (laptop training) Sydney based; Hybrid setup (WFH 2 days onsite Sydney CBD office) We are looking for a strong Technical Support Engineer w/ Servicenow admin/developer experience who will be part of a highly collaborative team focused on providing support for field engineers as well as customers/end users day to day. Their global software product is a single enterprise cloud-based platform, and they are recognized as 1 of the Top Fortune 100 companies to work for in 2021 & 2022 Job Title: Technical Support Engineer What you will be doing:- Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. Helps support those who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Help provides support to customers/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature. Skills you'll need to be successful in this role:- Hands-on experience with Servicenow platform (Service/Project Management, SLA Management, Service Catalog, Customer Service Management, Workflows & Approvals) Previous experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or ServiceNow Developer 2-3 years' of customer facing Technical support experience (Web based products or e-commerce preferred) Some experience in troubleshooting JavaScript Code (able to understand & read) Experience working with SQL & Linux would be an advantage Worked on troubleshooting web applications Proficient with analyzing log files & standard debugging concepts. Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach & strong analytical skills. Familiarity with incident management, knowledge base, defect & escalation management.
