Apply your assessment, project development and delivery experience with a global mining giant Initial 9-month contract with likelihood of extension Weekday roster (only 3 nights away from home) c$100 per hour flights, accom and food Kotahi Consulting are currently seeking the skills of a talented Mechanical Engineer, to provide assurance support to a range of capital and asset integrity projects at one of Queensland’s premiere mines. Reporting to a Project Manager you will support the delivery of projects being executed on the mine’s wash plant and process facilities. The role will involve coordination of assessment works, development of business cases for investment approval, and planning and scoping of works to be delivered (including development of technical specifications). You will then provide technical assurance and contract administration functions throughout execution. To be considered for this role you will possess: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering At least 4 years’ experience working in an asset-owner or technical engineering consultancy Experience in the development and delivery of capital projects on process plants (mining, energy or industrial) Ability to build relationships with key mine stakeholders, project peers, and subcontractors. The ability to undertake a FIFO rostered role with Point-of-Hire being Brisbane airport. Must have full working rights within Australia.
