The Tableau Developer creates and develops our BI system by utilizing Tableau software. This role will build dashboards include executive level reports drilling down to account level and field based, customer level reports. This role supports 360 degree view of the customer and therefore will across key roles that interface with the customer - medical, commercial, commercial ops. POSITION OVERVIEW: Build a working cadence with business stakeholders to Understanding business user requirements Create a backlog and system for prioritisation for development and delivery from discovery through to training end users, preparing documentation for service delivery team Take a co-creation approach to development - end users included in discovery through to prototype testing Test and publish dashboards and build in end user feedback loop Partner with Gilead IT teams and Axtria to establish data governance policies and build protocols Develop and maintain automated data flows and data transformations Develop, design, and maintain Tableau dashboards Look to external best practise when creating visualizations to bring to life the possibilities for stakeholders Work closely with the Analytic Product owner to understand data delivery structures and build solutions for ingesting data and data model efficiencies Create dashboards with a focus on user experience, correctness, and visibility Define access controls and implement security measures whenever required Continuously improve overall process in data management, collection, dashboard design, and entire product life-cycle Actively manage the performance and usability of Tableau to get the desired result Solve any data or performance issues related to workbooks and data sources Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor's degree required; Proficiency in developing reporting content using tools such as Tableau, SQL, preferred/advantageous - Starburst, AWS/data warehouses, coupled with an understanding of data modelling concepts. Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred but not essential Results-driven and focused both on meeting the needs of customers and the business - with evidence of past performance Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and customer centric approach Proven track record of coordinating and collaboration across multiple teams to prioritize varying business objectives and drive action to meet business requirements.
