We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, energetic warehouse manager to join our busy team. Alinta Australia is an award-winning school uniform retailer and sportwear manufacturer with Head Office based in Somersby on the Central Coast. In this role you will be required to: Supervision of staff Manage receipt, storage and delivery of stock Reordering/forecasting stock orders Implement systems to assist with workflow, including liaising with in-house IT department A complex understanding of logistics and freight negotiations would be advantageous Monitor and improve cost efficiency within our supply chain Have face to face contact with our Delivery Service Representatives. You will build strong relationships and offer a high level of customer service. Pick product in accordance with paperwork Assist with loading delivery vehicles Unload incoming stock from delivery vehicles and containers Maintain stock levels Accurate stock placement and record keeping Assisting with deliveries Maintain a clean, orderly and safe workplace General Warehouse Duties The successful application will possess: Current Car license Effective communication skills A high level of motivation and willingness to learn Strong communication, organisation and time management skills A high level of integrity and loyalty A demonstrated WHS focus Physical fitness Computer skills - Word, Excel & Outlook A ‘can-do’ attitude with flexibility
