Your new role In this newly created role as the Manager, Legal Operations you will provide subject matter expertise, process optimisationsand operational support to the Legal Department in order to continue to meet the needs of the Fund and its members. You will assist the Senior Manager, Legal Operations and the broader Legal Department Senior Leadership Team to develop, communicate and execute the Department's strategic plans. This includes identifying requirements, developing programs, communicating change, delivering initiatives and measuring performance. This role is ideal for someone with legal environment experience, an analytical, continuous improvement mindset and a keen interest in how people, process and technology come together to achieve tangible outcomes. Key duties include but are not limited to: Work with the Senior Manager, Legal Operations to develop, implement and iterate the Legal Department's Technology roadmap, including technology and innovation MVPs to support strategic objectives and tactical needs. Develop and monitor metrics to measure success against strategic plans and initiatives. Work with the Senior Manager, Legal Operations and Legal Department SMEs to identify opportunities to improve legal processes that benefit both the Legal Department and the Fund more broadly, quantify, plan, document and implement these proposed improvements and then monitor, maintain and iterate delivered improvements as required. Manage the Fund's matter management tool, its integration within the Fund's M365 Technology ecosystems, its ongoing maintenance, day to day operational support to the members of the Legal Department, and recommendations for future enhancements of the tool. Support the Senior Manager, Legal Operations coordinate team collaboration activities such as team meetings, offsites and knowledge sharing events. Support the Legal Department develop and implement ad hoc projects. What you'll need A minimum of 5 years' experience in either a legal or legal support/operations role. Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (Legal Studies) and/or Bachelor of Computer Studies or equivalent.Comprehensive understanding of legal process analysis, design and implementation; Comprehensive understanding of content management systems and concepts such as version control, file permissions and retention policies. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with colleagues, identify the needs of end users, define resource requirements and deliver relevant solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Demonstrated experience with SharePoint Online, Outlook and how the M365 ecosystem connects together. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work co-operatively in a dynamic and flexible team environment. Strong legal process analysis skills.
