The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is looking to fill the role of Lead Specialist Developer - Drupal, in our Technology and Security Division's Dissemination Systems section.As a Lead Specialist Developer you will be required to: liaise with business partners and other stakeholders to resolve critical issues, as well as make informed decisions about applications and their technical strategy/roadmapcontinuously improve team practices to ensure team effectiveness and alignment with division best practice (e.g., Agile, DevOps)ensure service, incident and problem management processes and practices are followed in line with agreed ITSM standardsfoster collaborative working relationships across organisation and with key partners.work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed team to carry out tasks in support of the ABS’ organisational objectivesprovide technical leadership for Drupal applications, providing advice on how to best achieve requirements/outcomes as well as assist with technical strategy and roadmapsmentor and coach team members in their work performance and technical skills.The Dissemination Systems section provides critical development and support for the ABS’s statistical dissemination functions.
