Majarlin is one of four components that forms the University’s RHMT program which sits within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery and Health Sciences. The aim of the UDRH is to contribute to strengthening the allied health and nursing workforce in the Kimberley. This is achieved through student placement, clinician support, teaching and research. The Administration Coordinator will perform a variety of high level administrative duties to support Majarlin. This position works in collaboration with the Program Manager and will support projects, reporting and strategic planning for Majarlin. This is a fixed term opportunity ending December 2024 and part time hours will be considered for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities Provide supervision, leadership, and direction for administration staff.Create a range of high-level documents including various correspondence, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Provide financial and HR coordination in consultation with Line Manager. Provide excellent customer service to students and University stakeholders.Ability to work accurately with detailed information; including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, managing correspondence, collating data for reports and under direction prepare a range of written communication.Continuous improvement delivery by reviewing, developing, and implementing enhanced administrative systems and processes.ABOUT YOU Supportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.Possess a Degree qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Proven administration leadership experience in a busy environment, higher education experience highly regarded. Strong understanding of administrative policies and procedures with an ability to interpret and apply them. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people.Advanced computer skills and application in email, internet, MS Office (inc SharePoint) and student administration systems.
