We are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant. This is a permanent full-time role, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. About your new roleThe Warehouse Assistant is part of a small team, working closely with the Branch Manager to take care of daily operations. Because it’s a small team, there is a lot of variety in the role, from warehouse storage and picking to making deliveries and pick ups in a van, as well as preparing and scanning documents for digitisation. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for growth, especially to step up when the Branch Manager is on leave. (Note that when this occurs, you will need to be on-call 24 hours a day due to the nature of our business.) You will: Ensure correct use of TIMG internal systems Prepare documents for scanning Perform high speed scanning of records and manage post-processing of scanned images Perform quality assurance on digitised documents Handle the picking and storing of archive boxes and other archiving items Use a stock-picker/forklift to pick/put away archive boxes/files Scan items using a PDA Pick up and deliver boxes to our clients Work out how to best reach our clients within their timeframes and ours Own your role in managing compliance Drive safely Note that with this role, the boxes can be up to 16kg in weight, and you’ll be lifting and carrying them regularly throughout the day, sometimes up and down stairs. Who you are Previous experience is a plus, but for the right candidate, we train you in everything.
