Jacon Equipment is currently seeking an experienced and driven, Infrastructure and Civil Equipment Sales Representative to join our team as Jacon expands in the Melbourne and Regional Victoria market. The Sales Representative should possess skills in the equipment sales covering market segments of Civil Construction, Infrastructure and Mining. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this role offers a competitive renumeration package, tool of trade vehicle and the opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business within Maas Group. Responsibilities: Managing and increasing sales and market share with customers in Melbourne/Victoria. Generate and build strong and lasting business relationships with prospective and existing customers. Plan and prepare for client meetings, presentations and events. Liaising with procurement, finance, our warehouse on your projects to ensure a positive client experience and sales process. Drive forecast targets for equipment sales. Gathers, identifies, and understands competitive landscape. Follow, track, and understand national and local economic trends and developments that impact the market. Accurately update and maintain CRM. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Build brand loyalty and maximize revenues. Understand and adhere to all Safety directives and policies both internally and on site. Marketing opportunities in different industries identified and put forward for roll out. Operate with clients at various levels, including operations, maintenance, management and corporate. Knowledge and experience required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills, excellent time management skills and ability to work unsupervised. Possess effective customer service skills. Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity. Motivated to exceed sales and service goals and objectives. Experience in Mining, Infrastructure and civil construction segments Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word and Excel) and other software packages relevant to the position. Proven sales track record in lead indicators of sales activities. Current driver license. This is a permanent, full-time role is based in Melbourne (Pakenham, VIC).
