A chance to get creative with architecture and tackle open ended problems. This is your clean slate. You’ll have final say on architecture for connected devices that drive massive improvement in the supply chain and automated logistics domain. You’ll put your mark on the entire software stack at an established engineering company that brings in excess of $3 billion annually. You won't need robotics or mechatronics experience as they’ve assembled an expert team of automation & robotic experts in their chosen field. This combined research, funding and in-house expertise sets them apart and sets them up for success. You’ll create the code, framework, architecture and design for a real-time Windows applications using socket and Web API connections via SQL Servers, C# and .NET Frameworks. You’ll be the subject matter expert in back-end applications development with a big input on architecture and design. With the application feeding into a wider system, you’ll influence the design and verification across the broader software stack. You’ll coach a number of Junior Applications Developers who’ll follow your design, but be supported by other Senior Engineers, helping you hit your 6 monthly release cycles, maintain quality of the build and the number of regressions. Success in this role will lead to more than just fixing bugs iterating on your design. You’ll take more responsibility for new applications, other areas of the software stack with a career progression opportunities into Project Management, Principal or Team Lead roles. I won’t patronise you with a long list of requirements. This is a substantial role and you’ll know if you have the depth and experience to match it. You’ll be Sydney based and you will spend half your time in the office, the other half working from home (or anywhere you like).
