We are seeking casual Electrical Trades Assistants to assist Qualified Electrical Workers to install and maintain electrical and telecommunications systems. About You: • You are seeking a casual Trades Assistant position. • You are keen and enthusiastic to learn and to assist the team in the execution of work plans under supervision. • As workplace safety is paramount, we are seeking an incumbent that is safety aware, takes initiative and has excellent housekeeping skills. • You take pride in your work, with exceptional reliability and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Duties: • Work under direction and as part of team and ensure to follow instructions. • Provide Trades Assistant support to the Electrical Worker. • Perform a range of manual tasks such as digging, lifting, cutting and laying cable to assist the Electrical Worker. • Provide support work such as Testing and Tagging following all procedures. • Collaborate with team members and project managers to execute Trades Assistant work safely, efficiently and effectively. • Communicate with team in a professional manner, addressing any concerns or questions in the course of work. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project. • Comply with company policies and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. • Liaise with Electrical Workers to learn about new industry developments and advancements in electrical technology to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge. Other duties as required. Qualifications and Experience: • Proven experience in Test and Tag duties. • Some familiarity with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. • Takes initiative to problem-solve or ask questions to contribute to resolving simple Trades Assistant tasks. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. • Valid WA driver's license and reliable transportation.
