About the Opportunity The Electronics Design Engineer is responsible for providing electronics designs that support the product development and product support goals of the organisation. The role requires electrical engineering technical knowledge plus the understanding of the electronics role in conjunction with software design, mechanical design and systems engineering activities. The Electronics Design Engineer ensures that electronics designs are produced in accordance with the EOS design process and that they are developed to meet all stringent requirements. Key duties of the role include: Produce electronics designs that satisfy defined requirements in the specified time frames. Undertake electronics design analyses in support of product development activities. Work with systems engineers to ensure that all requirements are identified, captured and analysed such that design can be developed that satisfy the requirements. Undertake test and evaluation activities on electronics designs to verify and sign-off of all design requirements. Work with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive and complete system designs. Job Description About You You can work cooperatively with teams and individuals, and are detail and solution oriented. You are both inventive and analytical. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate: Degree qualification in Electronics Engineering. Post graduate qualifications in Engineering desirable. Minimum 3 years in similar role. Experience in Defence sector desirable.
