Our team in Sales is currently searching for an Area Manager. Located at BMW Group Australia’s head office in Mulgrave and reporting to the Head of Retail Network, you will represent a global premium luxury brand with regular travel within Australia to influence, steer and deliver results for your region. You will be responsible for implementing the sales policies and measures for BMW vehicles in the Dealer Network to support the achievement of national volume, market share, customer and profitability objectives. What awaits you? The successful candidate will manage the following responsibilities: You will be responsible for strategic planning of dealer activities to ensure sales, brand and corporate image, customer and staff satisfaction are maintained at the highest levels. You will be responsible for supporting and guiding dealers in the development, implementation and monitoring of a Dealer Business Plan and ensure agreed action plans are adhered to across all disciplines. You will be responsible for assisting dealers with the development of innovative and effective marketing strategies to ensure market leadership and brand representation. You will be responsible for assisting Network Development including dealer acquisitions; facility upgrade identification, management, and implementation; dealer appointments and dealer contract terminations. You will drive and monitor dealer performance in achievement of set targets and provide feedback to BMW Group Australia management. Qualifications & Experience A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or training in Sales leading to a certificate or diploma (or equivalent experience necessary). Extensive automotive experience within retail / wholesale environments with strong business knowledge across all disciplines including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Aftersales. Advanced communication, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills on varied corporate levels. Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data and highlight specific areas for attention/action. Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Thorough proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP. WHAT DO WE OFFER?
