The Position This role plays a fundamental role in supporting classroom teachers meet the diverse learning needs of all students through planning and team teaching in a collaborative style. Key priorities for the role also include: Developing support documentation, including Student Learning Profiles, IEPS and NCCD. Collaborate and work with a broad range of stakeholders, including students, teachers, parents and health care providers to ensure individual student learning needs are met Administering and interpreting a range of diagnostic assessments This role is part-time temporary maternity leave cover to commence in Term 1 2024 for three terms until end of Term 3 2024. This role requires the successful applicant to be NESA accredited, hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check and to be fully COVID vaccinated. About You To be successful in this role, you will have experience in classroom teaching or working as a Learning Support Teacher with a strong focus on the literacy and numeracy needs of students in K-6. You will be passionate about the wellbeing needs of young people and have excellent interpersonal skills as you collaborate and contribute to a team of professional educators. You will importantly have exceptional communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate sensitively with various stakeholders.
